GhostNet: Your computer can spy on you

What a scary world we live in. The University of Toronto have discovered an Internet spying operation that has infiltrated over 1,200 computers in over 100 countries. The codename is GhostNet. The malware phishes for information, and has remote access to turn any computer into a listening device.

The office of the Dalai Lama- the spiritual leader of Buddhism- suspected malware or viruses on its computers and contacted the Munk Center for International Studies to investigate. However, it was no mere malware or trojan. The operation not only spyied on the Dalai Lama, but also on the governments of South Asian countries.
