Segway GM PUMA: Good or bad?

While the Segway Personal Transporter never amounted to anything outside of a niche market, General Motors and Segway have teamed up to bring us the PUMA (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility). You can seat two, and travel up to 35 miles per hour. It needs to be recharged after before 35 miles. It includes OnStar. The prototype is in New York.

The question still remains: will society embrace these and where do you park it without it getting robbed?
